This interest stems from my background in journalism, media, and content production.
As a journalist, I loved getting to know my audience and interviewing people from all walks of life.
Today, I apply those same skills to design.
💭 Just like with writing, I believe that you cannot design something well until you know your audience. You need to be willing to dig into people’s habits, desires, and dislikes.
I create user-friendly and engaging interfaces that help people reach their goals.
I build research plans, recruit participants, and lead moderated and unmoderated interviews to learn more about my audience and answer design questions.
I work with teams to build efficient and inclusive processes that help us work more efficiently and achieve our goals (while having fun, too!).
I geek out over a well-built Figma file and I love to make components easy to manipulate.
